Thumbnail Clear Sky Clock

This is begging to be turned into art.

I am currently working on creating more, and more easily accessed, storage for my art supplies. My friend ME, who lives in a lovely, old, farm house that she keeps easily neat as a pin because of the spareness with which she has decorated, is coming over a few times a month to assist in the process. I am about to order a small chest of drawers for the spot where a pine chest currently resides. I rarely access the contents of the box because it is a big pain in the patoot to get items in and out of it easily. Drawers are the answer. Easily opened drawers. We all know the frustration of sticky drawers! (Let it go potty-heads!)

The point of this is: as I create space that is easy to access in which to store my art supplies I will be more inclined to get them out (and put them away!). And then, I will be more inclined to create art as it moves me rather than watch the inclination move in like a storm and dissipate, leaving behind dissapointment like drought.

I'm listening to Mongo Santamaria "Streak O’ Clean" from: La Bamba

Did you notice that the clocks are auto updating!?

I had the idea to tile a splahboard in my kitchen with the clock of a particular day. Of course I don't have a splashboard in my kitchen but what the heck...

I will be uploading my most recent work of art soon...

Come back now, 'hear?

The best way to turn something into art is to cut it into tiny pieces and then reassemble those pieces. And then rent an "art" gallery in New York and charge people for viewing it. I learned that at some blog....

Astronomy is my favorite science. It fascinates me, even though I don't grasp much of it. Just the idea that we're a speck of nothing in the middle of this huge show. As you know, we're not even a bubble in the Bathtub Fart of Creation.

This is SO TRUE!! When I was selected to appear on HGTV's 'That's Clever' last year I decided a complete re-do of my art space was in order. I have created more in the year since then, than I did in the five years before that!! Good luck on your endeavor, the payoff is worth it!!

suzanne, thank you so much for your encouragement. I live in a really small house, the whole thing is less than 864 sq. feet.

I love my little house but is is very challenging to live in it efficiently and with ease. I am always knocking things over to get to things stored behind other things.

What my friend ME is helping me do is find ways to store my belongings so I can get to them easily. That is the only way I'll put things back! Being able to put things away easily is the only way I'll ever have a tidy home. Which I want!

Again, thanks for your encouragement!
